Crownin' Around.

Scored this sweet fairie crown at Artists & Fleas the other day and I have worn it 4 days in a row. It's just so sweet and delicate, it doesn't over power your head and is comfy to wear so I have been wearing it. A lot. I even wore it to Coney Island and thankfully it stayed put when I went on the roller coasters.  Yeeee! I love it!

Artists & Fleas-Family Day

Had such an awesome time eating and shopping my way through Williamsburg with my brother and sister on Sunday. Pictures of the crown I got will be up on the blog soon!! If you haven't been to Artists & Fleas in Brooklyn I highly suggest it. The vendors have great stuff, well edited and creative. Fun fun fun!

hippie dreams.

rings; catbird
i rode my bike over  to williamsburg the other day popped into catbird amongst other stores and i picked up these delicate little wisps of beauty, some delicious vanilla for the fellas as i like to say perfume and a beautiful citrine stone that i have been meditating with every night from the little store across the street. i've basically been wearing my memory and threadbares everyday since i got them and i have to say for such delicate little bands they are super tough.  my vanilla perfume has been getting mixed with patchouli and lavender, i'm taking it back to 6th grade circa 1996 and i am perfecting my hippie love potion dreams. everything is coming up magical this spring and i want to role with this sweetness for as long as i can.

what i wore...

dress: cora
shoes: seychelle
faux fur collar: partially self made
it was a rough weekend! the hub and i were a bit on the outs, but all is better now and i'm so happy to have the weekend behind me! fighting with my hubby is the worst. so to get our minds off of everything we made our way over to the artists & fleas market in williamsburg to visit the bklyn dry goods pop up which has amazing vintage wares and i wound up finding this dress by cora (which was the pop up next to bklyn dry goods). i haven't left the house all day, but i also haven't taken this dress off. it is luxurious! and the deep green color makes it all the more glamorous to lounge around in.

a little sneak peak...

is this the chain i chose???? not telling :)

the inside of the brooklyn charm is a bead lovers paradise! and in all of new york city there is not one other store like it. my mom and i were in there for a while taking pictures, building my chain and chatting with the lovely ladies who were running the store jasmine and jordan. if you're ever in the burg and you wanna make some groovy necklaces definitley stop in the brooklyn charm.
