The One I Love.

This Moonstone ring reminded me of a friends ring only this one has Moonstone in it while hers had Citrine. I had always loved that ring of hers and dearly wanted one of my own so when I saw this posted on The One I Love's website I knew I had to make it my own. Its so beautiful in person, Moonstone set in Rose Gold, swoon. I haven't taken it off since it's arrived in the mail and although I have been feeling my friends spirit with me,  everytime I look at my ring and it lets off a purple glint its like a little wink from the heavens. If you like expertly curated vintage and antique rings please visit The One I Love. You wont be disappointed....Maybe a little light in the pockets, but hey, solid gold is worth more than dollar bills so buy with your future in mind! XX

Color Correction.

My beautiful client Laura Murphy wanted to take her dark auburn bob and turn it into a ruby dream. To get her there I mixed a 6r and 7r (wella) with 20 volume peroxide and a pinch of bleach to cover her resistant grays and lighten the existing color. I painted the ends with bleach and 30 volume while her roots processed. I let that sit for 25 minutes. an followed up with a quick shampoo, flash toned with the original formula and viola! Ruby red gorgeousness! I carved out her bangs to frame her adorable face and point cut her square layers to add a little texture. Now she's ready for her next Burlesque Show!

Quick Tip Tuesday...On Wednesday!

This quick tip is for you mane. An Avocado & Olive Oil Hair Mask to be exact! Watch the video above and check back every Tuesday starting July 23 for new fun natural beauty tips.

Cronut.

I have a pretty cool roommate, he snagged me a cronut the other day and it was yummy (he really just bought it as a bribe, he needed a haircut haha). I have to say, cronuts are good but they kinda have a flakey, chewy, stale texture goin on. I may catch some anger from the die hard cronutters but I have to be honest. Good but kinda stale-ish.
