Fragrance Shop NYC

After reading an article about The Fragrance Shop on the LES I literally could hardly wait to get there!  Walking into the lovely little store I was greeted by the super nice mixologist Stephanie.  She went through all of the scents that I liked and we tested out different combinations ultimately settling on a fantastic blend that I later named Summer's Musk (they keep your custom scent recipe on a card with your name and all of the ingredients and you get to name it! So cute!).  See, I was first lured to The Fragrance Shop by the deceptively tiny price tag of $9, only to find the prices had just been raised a day earlier!  That was the only downfall of my whole experience, in addition to the $8 for the bottle there was an additional mixing fee of $10, $15 if you got the bigger bottle!  I was a bit stunned since we are basically in a depression and it seems a bit counter productive to raise prices.  Regardless, I am going to make my little bottle of Summer's Musk last me as long as possible and plan on refilling it as soon as it's empty. Yeah, it's that good.
